: I have the same securities in three broker accounts, each saved in FM as advised (e.g., IBM.dat; IBM2.dat; IBM3.dat, etc.)in three portfolios respresenting each broker account. The problem comes when I sell IBM from one account, but not from the other two; I know how to close it from that portfolio, but I also want to move that .dat file to a portfolio I labled "Sold." Is there an easy way to determine which of the three IBM.dat files is in a particular portfolio? Clicking on "Investment Properties" only gives me the symbol, not the file name.

Hi Gerald,
You can find the filename under "Investment Properties/Statistics". You
can also do a custom report with the "Path" or "Filename" field.

Thanks,
Mark
