: : : Hi there,
: : : Company PPX takes over company SCP offering 7 PPX shares for every 8 SCP shares held. On the take over date, SCP is at 3.15 and PPX is at 3.56.
: : : How is this event recorded in Fund Manager?
: : : Cheers
: : : Roger

: : Hi Roger,
: : I'm assuming you own SCP? If so, just record this as a 7 for 8 split,
: : and then change the investment name/symbol under "Investment Properties..."
: : to the new name (PPX).

: : Thanks,
: : Mark

: Mark

: What if I own both PPX and SCP ?
: How do I put old and new shares together?
: (In my case it is MSFT and GPSI)
: Thanks

: Homer

Hi Homer,
There is no real good way to do this. You may be better off just keeping
2 PPX investments, with a different purchase history.

Thanks,
Mark
