Hi again Mark:

Thank you for your prompt attention.Overlaying different investments on the same graph can show us instantly whether certain funds, especially index funds, or stocks and indexes are inter-related. For example,is S&P 500 or Dow Index
fund related the price movement of certain stocks or mutual funds? Are certain
index funds related to some equity funds? This (proposed) feature allows us more room for deeper analysis of the inter-relationship among funds, stocks and indexes. As for the scale we could use the left vertical axis for one fund (or
stock/index)and the right vertical axis for other fund or stock/index,both
sharing the same horizontal axis(time span).

Other users of FM, any comment?

Johny

: : Hi Mark:

: : I've paid the upgrade fee.How come it still shows "Unregistered" on the screen?
: : Every time I click on FM 51 icon, it always promps for setup and installation,
: : quite annoying. How can I do the setup only once instead of repeating it every
: : time when I start up the window?

: : Can you make FM capable of plotting TWO graphs of TWO different Funds or Stocks
: : of my choice on the SAME screen using the ACTUAL PRICES, not percentage,
: : performance or rate of return? This is what I would like to see in the next
: : FM upgrade.

: : Thank you

: : Johny

: Hi Johny,
: It sounds like you are running the installation program (fundmn51.exe),
: rather than Fund Manager itself (fm.exe). You only need to install it once,
: and then use "Start/Programs/Fund Manager/Fund Manager" to start the program.

: Enter your password under "Help/Register..." to let Fund Manager know
: that you've registered.

: The problem with 2 actual prices on the same graph, is the scales can
: be different, this is why the investment overlay graph uses normalized
: prices. Is there some other benefit of viewing the actual prices when
: overlaying different investments on the same graph?

: Thanks,
: Mark
