: : : Today, 3/8/01 I had 9 of my 40 stocks showing the same closing prices as yesterday. I recognize that we are currently using Yahoo as our reference, but there is a problem somewhere. I am watching CNBC and am seeing significantly different closing prices. What are you doing about this error? Hopefully, it will be corrected by tomorrow.

: : Hi Sam,
: : Fund Manager updates the prices as reported by whatever server you're
: : using. Usually these are also delayed by at least 20 minutes. If you see
: : a discrepency between a price reported by a server when using your browser
: : and when retrieving from FM please let us know, but we have no control over
: : the prices being reported by the servers. You can also try another server
: : if you're not satisfied with a particular one for some reason. We support
: : quite a few, see:

: : Thanks,

: : --Thanks Mark,
: I have used yahoo for a long time with no trouble, but yesterday and the day before I got an asterisk after the stock price when I printed my Portfolio Value and those 9 items with an asterisk where the closing prices of the day before. I will watch it for a few days but thought you should know about it.

Same,
The "*" means the price is interpolated, so it didn't get updated.
Make sure you have version 304 of the retrieve module.

Thanks,
Mark
