: I went to update the prices on my portfolio as I usually do. When I clicked the Internet button, something really weird happened. Instead of retrieving updated prices, my system ran Internet Explorer (5.5) and went directly to a web page on Yahoo! related to one of the funds in my portfolio. The precise url was http://biz.yahoo.com/n/T/TWCUX.html.

: What's even weirder is that if I minimized or tried to close IE5, it would just reopen that page, over and over. When I could manage to get back to FM, none of my investments appeared on the screen. If I clicked on the menu bar, instead of getting the menu, IE5 would just open up again. I had to force-quit FM. When I changed quote servers from Yahoo to CheckFree, everything went back to normal. Has anyone else had this experience?

: I am using FM version 4.7.237, Windows 98SE, cable modem.

: P.S. I see in my Preferences that that url I mentioned is set as my Web News url.

Hi Mike,
I haven't heard of this one before. Sounds like something was really
wrong. Does it still do this if you reboot your computer? It sounds like
you were stuck in a look going to your web news URL...

Thanks,
Mark
