I think the answer to both of your questions is in the "Edit/All Data..."
dialog. You can use this to view/edit/add/delete any prices or transactions.
Choose the investment you want to work on, and then pick the data type,
like "Investments (all)" to enter or edit your buy/sell transactions. To
edit the date of an existing transaction, just select it in the list, and
choose "Edit". The online tutorial walks through more detail on the use
