After successfully updating via th eInternet for 22 Jan 2001 daily data I see just a line running from bottom left to upper right, or vice versa, between the two dates on each chart. Importing historical data does not result in the historical data for intervening dates being displayed on the charts.

Go to Options + Internet Settings then choose Yahoo historic
Then go to the "Int" icon and select dates, easy as pie once you know where to go!
