How handle tax-free fund conversion?

Vanguard recently introduced a new class of shares, called Admiral shares, for some funds. Eligible existing accounts can be converted to Admiral shares with no tax consequences. Since the basis for existing shares is unchanged by conversion, I'm inclined to think that the best way to handle this in Fund Manager is to simply change the name and trading symbol in my existing investment (.dat) file rather than show a transfer to a new investment file. Other ideas/suggestions?
