: Hi Mark

: I am trying to import from a generic file with the following line format:

: Symbol,date,nav an example is AIS933,2000/11/17,23.4562

: so I specify input format line as SYMB,YYYY/MM/DD,NAV and I do not have the date or symbol boxes checked.

: but I get a message saying illegal format.

: Any suggestions?

: Thanks

The format string should be:

SYMB,YY/MM/DD,NAV

The year keyword 'YY' will represent either a 2 or 4 digit year.
'YYYY' is not the correct keyword for year, it is 'YY'.

Thanks,
Mark
