: Refer to my message"Wrong Dates" on 8/21.
: I followed your advice for a few days, the date floated to the current date but then it stopped doing it. I keep clicking File/Save Portfolio but when I access my graphs each day they are only up to yesterday's date.

Hi HarryH,
I'm not sure why this changed. Here is the rule: If your ending date is
at the current date, or the date of your last recorded price, then the
ending date will "float". One suggestion might be to use View/Dates... to
change the ending dates to today, and then save your portfolio. You do not
need to save your portfolio each time you look at it, or even when you
update prices. You only need to save your portfolio if you change something
like which investments are open, the order, graph type, etc... There is
a list of items stored in your portfolio in the online help. The actual
data is stored in your investments, so if you're just opening your portfolio,
and updating the investment prices/transactions, there is no need to re-save
your portfolio. It normally doesn't hurt anything, but if you've adjusted
the ending date somehow to a non-floating end date, it will remember this.

Thanks,
Mark
