: : I checked to-day again, (Tue, Sept. 19) on a Portfolio containing all TSE stocks. Most were updated to Closing prices for 9/19/00. One of the exceptions was SLC.TO; its price stayed at 9/15/00. I also checked View/Dates to make sure that I was looking at the latest dates; the last date was 9/15/00.

: 1) The symbol isn't recorded correctly, maybe a space in, before, or after
: the symbol?

: 2) Make sure you have the latest retrieve module (232).

: 3) You have some sort of internet speed-up (cache) software that is preventing FM from getting a new quote. FM sends the request as "no-cache", so that it should always get updated, but there is some software out there that tries to speed up your connection by overriding this, and fetching data from your hard drive instead of going back over the internet.

Thanks for the swift reply!
I downloaded retrieve module/version 232 ( I was using 226) and checked Yahoo for slc.to through FM and updated from 9/18 to 9/20
with no trouble.
