: I've tried importing a file from Quicken 2000, but when I select the file, FM asks me to input the date, price, number of shares, and commission for the first security in my Quicken portfolio.

: Do I have to enter this information manually to import my data?

Hi Shawn,

When you are importing from Quicken with the option turned on to create new investments as needed, you
will be prompted for information on how to create each new investment, as FM comes across it. This will just come up once for each new investment, so you can enter the symbol, and where to save the investment file, etc... You should just enter 0 for shares, and any temporary number for price. You can update prices later by retrieving historical prices, or importing from Quicken if you prefer.

Thanks,
Mark
