: : An investment that I have been updating since Feb '96 has apparently been corrupted.

: : investment can I delete to correct the corruption and then re-enter the data?

: : Thanks.

: Hi Philip,
: What version of FM are you using? Even if a file is corrupt, FM should
: never cause a crash. There is only 1 file associated with an investment,
: everything is stored in the *.dat file. If you are using the latest version
: of FM (4.7) and can repeatedly make this crash, please e-mail us the investment
: file along with instructions on how to reproduce the crash. We'll take a look.

: Thanks,
: Mark

Mark, I using rev. 4.7. The prices display correctly but the value of my investments
is way off as is the number of shares. If I display all investments, the values
in all of the fields are not valid data. If I attempt to edit or delete an investment
FM GPF's. I'll send you the files associated with this investment. So the div,
inv, & msc files associated with this investment are no longer used?

Philip
