: : Hi Mark,

: : I have just started using Fund Manager (great product), so I apologise if this question has already been asked (I did a quick scan/search through the weboard).

: : I am tracking the S&P/ASX 50 Leaders index in my portfolio. With yahoo, I checked the symbol and it is ^AFLI (very difficult to find that out!!!).
: : However, this symbol is not working (all other stocks are working).

: : I have checked the Investment Property and "Internet Retrieve Updates Price" and it is selected.

: : I have tried All Ordinaries Index (^AORD) and it doesn't work either. I have tried symbol without "^" and also with ".AX" suffix, but no luck.

: : Any ideas??

: : Thanks,
: : Danny

: Hi Danny,
: I just checked using my browser and ^AFLI is available on the "Yahoo"
: quote server, but not the "Yahoo - Australia & NZ" quote server. I did
: a test retrieve from Yahoo, and it retrieved properly. You might want
: to try the "Yahoo" server if you're not using that.

: Thanks,
: Mark

Thanks Mark,

I have switched to Yahoo server (instead of Yahoo Australia & NZ). The Yahoo server correctly updates all my Aussie stocks (n Aussie Dollars), so I can dispense with Yahoo Aus & NZ altogether.
This is a useful tip for all Australian users of Fund Manager

Cheers,
Danny
