: Hi Mark,

: It's been a long time. YOur program has really evolved.
: I'm the person who uses Equis's Pulse, a dead program for Y2K.

: I use FastTrack DOS/Win with the stock datadase. So I have over 2000+ Funds and 2000+ stock quote with adjustments readily available.

: In trying our your package again, I notice that now you update from the Internet, it appears to only want IE explorerer. Unfortunately I use Netscape Navigator. I think I have to do something in my registry to force my browser.

Fund Manager does not use any browser when
retrieving quotes from the internet. It requests
the quotes directly from the server itself. For
more on this feature see:

http://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/intrtv.html

: In any event. I just figured out that in order to use your program, I have to get ALL the quotes (duplication of my FastTrack data), in order to value graphically my portfolio.

: Are you contemplating supporting access to the FT data?

Export data from Fasttrack and import it into Fund Manager with the generic import command and the format string "SYMB","MM/DD/YY",XX,NAV,XX

You can also now easily retrieve historical prices
for all your investments via the internet retrieve
feature. See the "Yahoo (Historical)" quote
server under "Options/Internet Settings...".

: See: www.FastTrack.net and the hardcore SIG on http://www.investormap.com/forums/ ?

: TIA... still looking for that Portfolio manager.
