: : Hi, : : I am attempting to evaluate your software and have run : : into the following problem. : : When I try to do an internet update on a stock th price just remains flat : : I am connecting into the ASX server : : i.e I do not think it is retrieving any data. : : Any suggestions. : : Thanks : Its ok for that question. : I worked out it was the date format. It was looking at US format instead of Ours : Anyway next question : I am having trouble importing quicken data. : At least I think it is : The extension is .prn and the format is in the form : 910628,1.6,1.6,1.6,1.6,0 : 910701,1.6,1.6,1.6,1.6,0 : Any help for this one? Hi Joe, Glad you solved the internet retrieve problem. The format of your .prn file looks like it is slightly different than .prn files exported from Quicken that I've seen before. It is missing the double quotes around each number. What version of Quicken did you export these prices from?
You can easily import this data with the generic import command though. Use "File/Import/Prices/ Generic...". The format string would be: UD,NAV,HH,LL,XX You would "specify" the symbol, but not the date. Thanks, Mark -- Mark Beiley
