: : Hi Mark
: : How about investigating the JSE (www.jse.co.za)and some other South African investment sites to include an update server for SA Stocks.

: Hi Donald,
: Thanks for the suggestion, sounds good, I
: will do this. The features of a site must

: if you know of a better one please let me know.

Hi there,

I use www.sharenet.co.za or www.bfanet.co.za as sources of free share / unit trust price info. One can download .csv files from sharenet's site, but have found it almost impossible to import these prices into Fundmanager. There seems to be something "wrong" with the csv files - I don't know. I am still trying out different format definition strings, to no avail. I am sure I am missing something.... One can use a roundabout way via Excel, changing the date format so that the "UD" format can be used and saving the file as an Excel csv file - that worked last year. I have almost given up in the meantime....

Mark, if you are monitoring this, can you help? Maybe I could send you a sample csv file to test.

A biiiig help would be a "Import Wizard" interface, similar to that of Excel. That way, one could see immediately how the program is interpreting the data to be imported.

Greetings

Henry
