dividends/s in custom report

in custom reports, for some investments, if i list dividends/share, and list end NAV, adding them will equal the number in the endNAV + dist column. however for some stocks the "end NAV+dist" is more the the sum of the previous two columns. what is happening here.
eg, dist/s = .60, end NAV =30.79 end NAV+dist +31.71
