In fact, it is my only financial tool. I'll try to explain in more detail what is happening after I downloaded version 4.0. I have historic data for 48 securities in a portfolio called "ALL.mm4". There are no other portfolios or data. The price, value, overlay and other graphs seem to display properly and I can print out reports on value of the portfolio correctly. I'm only having trouble with the pies. For example, the graph/pie/value shows a pie with three quadrants in solid colors, grey, blue and orange, each at about 1/4 of the pie. As I cursor around in each quadrant, however, I am reading out a number of different stocks and their correct percentage in the bottom bar. In other words where I have three slices, there should be 41. The fourth quadrant properly displays 7 slices: yellow, purple, dark grey, red, pink, green and black, with the correct designations. (The text at the right of the pie is also OK.) The Asset Allocation pie is displayed with 5 slices, blue, pink, green, brown and pale blue. The blue reads as 57% common stocks, which is correct. Likewise, the green (10% money market) and the brown (7% treasuries) is o k. But the pink slice subsumes about 7 different asset types under one solid color. The Investment Goal pie is almost correct. It shows 2 slices, 64% Growth and 17% Income, which is o k. But the third slice contains 3 categories under one solid orange.
: : : It is not so simple, Mark. I own 48 stocks but they are represented by 9 slices, i e, some slices contain several stocks, but all one color (I can't discriminate between them, although they read correctlly on the bottom bar as I cursor around the pie.) : : : : : : : : What's wrong? : : : : The pie slice setting is just a "maximum" that : : : : Thanks, : : Thanks,
