What if you try a retrieve by clicking on the toolbar icon while offline, does FM connect you?

: I'm using Dial-up Networking, I checked the settings on the FM Internet Retrieve Settings and have it set to Automatic retrieve, and also have the time set. It only updates if I'm on line. If I'm off line with FM open, it does nothing.
