: I recently migrated from FM3.4 to FM4. When I start the
: program and I am looking at the gray screen, I have the
: option to open an investment or a portfolio. With 3.4
: when I clicked either of those options it took me to
: the "my data" folder and I made my selection. Now when
: I select open investment or open portfolio, it takes me
: to Look in .... Desktop. At that point I have to drill
: down to the proper drive, proper program, folder etc,
: until I get to "my data" where I can select what I
: need. What am I doing wrong??????

Does this always happen? I've had a couple other reports of this same problem, but haven't been able to reproduce it myself so far.

Of course, the last
folder you opened something from is suppose to be set as the default for the next time you want to
open something. If you notice anything that could
be of help in tracking this down it would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark
