Does "Adjusted Historical" mean the effect of dividends and other distributions are included, whereas "Historical" is simply pure price data? If so, are actual distribution dates and their amounts included in the former?

With one of my funds, which I had faithfully entered all purchase and distribution information going back to a mid-80's purchase date, I tried the "Adjusted Historical" update going back to then, and it ended up drawing a line that no longer "connected all the dots" (purchase and distribution events) as if my data was entered incorrectly(?) (I am very confident that it was correct).

Ideas?
