: How can i handle 1 mutual fund that is in two separate accounts? E.g. I own Janus Mercury in my IRA and my daughters custodial account is Janus Mercury. How can i keep track of the purchases and still keep the performances separate? Automatic purchases are made at different days of the month.

Ken,
Create an investment (File/New Investment...)
for each of the two holdings. Assign each one a
different filename, like Janus1.dat and Janus2.dat.
They can each have the same name and symbol, you'll
just want to save them each in their own investment
filename.

Thanks,
Mark
