: Much of my data comes in the common format SYMB,UD,XX,HH,LL,NAV,VV. : I just now tested it on some data with the UD field set to 000115. : I got an error message "could not update any investments". : I tried a number of alternatives. The only ones that worked involved replacing : 000115 by "2000/01/15" (described in the format statement as "YY/MM/DD") or : "15/01/2000" (described as "DD/MM/YY"). I assume that the MMDDYY equivalent works too. : In other words, it seems that (unless there is a fuller patch) I will have to pre-process all my data or try to arrange to get it : with the date in a different format. Or am I missing something? : I have Fund Manager 3.4 for Win95. : Vince F Vince, I tried to reproduce this, and it seems there is a problem if the year is 0, no matter, whether you use the UD symbol or YY symbol. It works for example, if you use the date of 010115 with symbol UD. There was a bug in the code that affected only the generic import when the year was 0. This has been fixed and will be included in the FM 4.0 release, which is going to happen in 99. Thanks for catching this. Thanks, Mark -- Mark Beiley
