I received this message from Gateway in reply to an inquiry about the above problem. On my machine lowering the slide switch by two notches fixed the problem- but at what performance penalty? I've decided to live with the small problem till new drivers come out.

Hello John,

Thank you for your email. We are aware of the issue concerning the charts.
There is a way to correct this issue, which is to lower your Hardware
Acceleration:

1. Right-click on your desktop and go to Properties.
2. Now go to Performance and Graphics.
3. Take the notch over to the left once.
4. Apply changes and test your system.
5. If the problem still exists, go back and move it to the left one more
time.
6. Continue to do this and test the system.

You are free to use STB's drivers if you feel that it will correct your
issue. However, please keep in mind the information found on other vendors'
web sites has not been approved or authorized for use with your computer by
Gateway. Therefore, by following, downloading, or installing anything from
another vendor's site, you are acting on your own behalf. Gateway assumes
