Hi Gary,
You are doing it correctly, by keeping these in separate investments.
Reports will not consolidate these separate investments, as you are asking.
There are however some graphs, like the Pie Chart/Symbol, and Stack Value/Symbol that
will combine multiple investments with the same symbol, as you are requesting.

Thanks,
Mark

: Sorry I do not understand. I have stocks owned by various family members so for tax reasons need detail by ownership, ... but at same time these are managed as a whole. When I set up as accounts for various family members, then create a portfolio that contains everything I have 4/5 lines representing each account when I would prefer to have just one line which is the sum of all stock under that name but owned by various family members.

: Thanks for your patience.

: : : Hi,

: : : Can I consolidate several portfolios which own the same securities? So rather than having say four Intel lines this would be amalgamated into one amount/line.

: : : Many thanks for your help

: :
: : Hi Gary,
: : Are these 4 Intel accounts the same account, or do you need to track
: : their investments separately. If they're the same, you would just have
: : one investment. An investment can belong to any number of portfolios.
: : You can combine portfolios, just by adding the investments from each portfolio
: : to a new portfolio, or one of the existing ones. The reports will
: : still have one line/investment.

: : Thanks,
