: Hi Mark,

: I have several Portfolios with a number of stocks in each. I also have a portfolio that I call "all" in which I keep all of the stocks and indices that I track, as you suggested. I use this portfolio to get my updates from the Yahoo Historical site. I do turn off the Split Adjusted option under View when I get the updates. Is it also necessary to turn that option off in all of the individual portfolios as well? Or is it OK to leave them with that option turned on? I do have splits entered for quite a few stocks.

: Thanks for your help.

Hi Wyatt,
You only need to turn "View/Split Adjusted" off before retrieving from
the "Yahoo (Historical)" server. You can turn it on any other time you'd
like. If you're not retrieving historical prices in those other portfolios,
then you can turn it on and leave it on if you'd like. This option controls
how historical prices are imported/retrieved. Since the "Yahoo (Historical)"
prices are not adjusted for splits, you want to turn it off before retrieving.

Thanks,
Mark
