Thanks Mark and Tim for the suggestions regarding my vanishing portfolio problem.
Nothing worked, even after I restored FM from a two-day-old tape backup. That
made me suspect it was not FM but Windows that was the culprit. It turns out
the little "normal window" button at the top of the screen (between "minimize"
and "mazimize" was actually minimizing the graphs clear out of sight.
