Hi Alan,
Currently, the status bar displays only the exact location of where
your cursor is located. In version 4.2 that is under development, we
have already added a "cursor snap" feature. This does just what you
are requesting, it displays in the status bar the value on the line
in the graph that your cursor is closest to. This is a feature you
can toggle on/off. We hope to be releasing 4.2 in beta format fairly
soon.
