: Follow up: : I must be dense as I definitely want the portfolio performance reset to reflect ytd gains or losses. I only want the report, not the graphs changed. However, when I tried to follow your instructions I keep getting the same report with the date ranges from 12/27/97 to current instead of 12/31/98 to current. Can you be more specific in giving step by step instructions on how to change this and have the program memorize the new comparison dates? : : : : Do you mean reports or graphs? The graph date : : range is memorized in portfolios, but the : : report date range is not. Portfolios do not : : memorize reports. You can create a memorized : : report which will memorize your date ranges : : as well as the report type. Once you create : : the report and adjust the date range use "Edit/ : : Memorize..." and assign the report a name. Next : : time, just create a memorized report, and pick : : the name you just assigned. The memorize : : report command is also available on the toolbar : : while viewing your report. : : Thanks, : : Mark : : -- : : Mark Beiley : : : : Fund Manager for Windows 3.1x/95/98/NT : : : : 1) Open your investments or portfolio 2) Use "Reports/Portfolio Performance..." 3) On the dialog that comes up change the "From" date to 12/31/98, and then hit the "Done" button. 4) Choose "Edit/Memorize..." and give it a name. Turn on the "Float Ending Date to Current" option, and hit the "OK" button. The next time you start FM, open your investments and then choose "Reports/Memorized...". Select the memorized report you created in 4) above, and click "OK". Thanks, Mark -- Mark Beiley
