Seasonality Report

This report can be created by selecting the Reports / Seasonality... command from within any window.  This report is available in the Professional and Advisor versions.

This report shows seasonality for every month of the year.  Seasonality can be calculated for any number of years.  Typically, the more years used in the calculation, the more statistically significant the seasonality.  Seasonality is calculated for the specified number of years, ending on the ending report date.

The values reported can either be normalized to the overall average return, or not, depending on the Seasonality Values are Normalized option.  See the calculation details in the seasonality definition for an explanation of normalizing.

Seasonality values are 0 based in this report.  This means:
Normalizing On: numbers less than 0 indicate below average performance, and numbers greater than 0 indicate above average performance.
Normalizing Off: numbers less than 0 indicate a negative performance, and numbers greater than 0 indicate a positive performance.

Advanced:  The state of the "Annualize Yields for Terms Less Than One Year" option will affect the seasonality values.  Typically this option is left off, which is the default.
