Portfolio Seasonality Graph

This graph plots seasonality of sub-portfolios.  There is also a Seasonality graph for investments.  This graph is available in the Professional and Advisor versions.

The graph can calculate seasonality for any number of years, for weeks, months, or quarters.  The display can be set to either Segment or Bar style.  Bar styles are available for either "Base 0" or "Base 100".  When using a "Base 0" display, numbers less than 0 indicate the performance during this calendar period were below average, and numbers greater than 0 indicate above average performance.  When using a "Base 100" display, numbers less than 100 indicate the performance during this calendar period were below average, and numbers greater than 100 indicate above average performance.  The menu command Graphs / Options / Seasonality Options... controls these options.

The displayed numbers can either be normalized to the overall average return, or not, depending on the Seasonality Values are Normalized option.  See the calculation details in the seasonality definition for an explanation of normalizing.  When normalizing the displayed numbers show whether you are above or below average performance.  When not normalizing the displayed numbers show the average returns instead.

The X axis on this graph always displays a full year.  The seasonality calculation is performed back the specified number of years from the ending graph date.

Advanced:  The state of the "Annualize Yields for Terms Less Than One Year" option will affect the seasonality values.  Typically this option is left off, which is the default.
