Thanks for the reply, however I'm missing something. Since there can't be two files in the same directory with identical filenames, does FM use the filename to or some other ID to determine which file belongs to which portfolio?

Is there some method by which I can update the prices on all of the funds in all four portfolios in one operation? Right now I'm opening one portfolio, updating the prices from YAHOO, saving, closing, and opening the second portfolio et al.

I've decided to register my copy of 4.7 - your offer of the free upgrade is more than fair. Should I also order the manual, and will it pertain to both versions, or can I get the version 5 manual when the new version comes out?

I want to get the most out of the software and I'm still having a slow go despite the tutorial and the help files - If the manual contains more information that will help me be a better FM user, I would look forward to that. I have been checking the FAQs as well.

Thanks,

--Dave
