Hi Mark,
Some more suggestions, by order of importance for me :
1) In Reports, the ability to sort by the Date settings (AKA the periods defined by the user in the Report Settings Window). Currently we have to go back in the Report Settings and modify the order of date ranges manually, or record several similar custom reports with only a different date ranges order. It would be much more handy and powerful for the data analysis if we could sort and thus compare directly the performance for the different date ranges, with a single mouse clic or entry menu. Please !
2) A "Clear" button in the "Select Investments to Overlay" Window, or at least the ability to select several investments with Shift+clic before clicking "Remove". I like clicking, but here it's too much sometimes...
3) I don't use linked sub-portfolios, so you can eventually ignore this one... but I think it would be a good improvement for flexibility : the ability to name a linked sub-portfolio differently from the target sub-portfolio. For example, think of this portfolio tree :
- Root
----Portfolio 1
--------US equities
--------Europe equities
----Portfolio 2
--------US equities
--------Europe equities
To aggregate the equities for a zone (for a different approach in reports and graphs) we can extend the tree with this branch :
----US equities (container, we can rename this one)
--------US equities (linked to Porfolio 1\US Equities - Can't be renamed, I'd like to rename it "Portfolio 1")
--------US equities (linked to Porfolio 2\US Equities - Can't be renamed, I'd like to rename it "Portfolio 2")
----Europe Equities (container, we can rename this one)
--------Europe equities (linked to Porfolio 1\Europe - Can't be renamed, I'd like to rename it "Portfolio 1")
--------Europe equities (linked to Porfolio 2\Europe - Can't be renamed, I'd like to rename it "Portfolio 2")
Because, you see, without the ability to rename, the linked portfolios have no explicit name in the context of the target sub tree (several sub-porfolios named "US equities" and "Europe equities" in the same container)
4) This one is really trivial : a new scalable icon for FM, sexier in Windows.
