Retriving price from unlisted server

I would like to retrieve prices from Interactive Brokers and Yahoo Japan. Both are not listed in your supported server list (http://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/intrtv.html)
What can I do in this case?

Hi realbg,

You can only "retrieve" prices from our list of supported quote servers. Interactive Brokers is a broker, so they typically do not offer freely available quotes. Where on IB are you seeing the prices you want to retrieve?

Does Yahoo Japan have some quotes not available on any of our other quote servers? Can you give me an example URL to view the price of such a quote?

I want to download share price of Japanese stocks but Yahoo US does not offer that information. So, I thought about using Yahoo Japan.
Do you have any suggestion of other servers to use for the price of Japanese stocks?

I would start by checking on Bloomberg. They have a good selection of international stocks. If you can't find it there, but you can find it on Yahoo Japan, please let me know. We can consider adding support for Yahoo Japan. For links to all the quote servers we currently support, please see:

I almost thought I have to have Bloomberg subscription to have access to their historical pricing data.

At present I am finding it very difficult to DL historical and current prices using the current range of quote servers.

Hi Mark,

I just figured out that Bloomberg requires a different ticker symbol format compared to Yahoo Japan.

For example, ticker symbol: 1330 (Nikko Asset Management Nikkei 225 ETF listed on TSE - Tokyo Stock Exchange)

Yahoo Japan it is: 1330-TSE
On Bloomberg it is: 1330:JP

So it seems I can access the data from Bloomberg after all.
