% Change in Price

Hello -

When viewing the NAV graph we see the change in value for the price in $. It really would be very helpful were FM to include the % change in price as well.

Rather easy for your whizzes to implement & hugely helpful for your users.

Hi Septaj,

Good point, that would be a good option to add. You can customize the legend text currently, so this would be a good additional field to make available here.

Hi Septaj,

Yes, this was added into 11.0. See "Graph Options / Legend Text..." and insert the field EGRAPHVALPERCCHANGE.

The % change is currently displayed NAV against what value.

Is FM retreiving today's opening or yesterday's close with which to make this calculation?

Hi Septaj,

It is the % change in the data point plotted for the ending graph date, relative to the prior date. If you are on the NAV graph, this is the change in share price. The share price comes from the quote server. You can see your recorded closing prices in the Data Register under the "Prices" data type. This is what is being plotted.
