General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Hi Mark,

What is the best way of entering a forex trade?

E.g. if I do a Euro - USD trade, it is a buy of one currency and a sell of another currency. There is also a conversion rate involved.

Thanks

Matt

Hi Matt,

Set up a cash investment for each currency. Buy one currency, and sell the other. All cash investments keep a constant price of 1, and the shares equal the value. Each cash investment will be assigned to the currency for that cash. If you want to view the total in the default currency, make sure you set up the exchange rate information under "Options / Currency Settings...". For a tutorial on trading in multiple currencies, please see:

Thanks,
