: : : I pay a quarterly fee for management of my broker account. There are no commission charges for sell or buy orders, and the fee is based on the value of the account at the end of the quarter. How can I enter these fees into FM?

: : Hi Gerald,
: : You can use the Account Fee transaction to properly record this.

: The Account Fee transaction seems to apply only to a single security; I am charged for each account, which I have set up in individual portfolios in FM. The fee applies to the contents of this portfolio, not an individual security in that portfolio.

Hi Gerald,
There isn't a transaction that can be applied to the whole portfolio.
You could either lump it into 1 investment in your portfolio, like maybe
the money market, or you could divide it up among all your investments,
which is probably rather time consuming...

Thanks,
Mark
