: : You have a couple of options. Portfolios remember the default quote server.

: : You would include the appropriate investments, and have different default

: : retrieve from the default quote server.

: OK. I'll try that. Now another question. (I'm afraid that there will be quite a few before I manage to get my whole portfolio set up.)
: Does FM use the file name as the ticker name for quote retrieval? If so, how do I set the name to get the quote from Yahoo UK? For example: A ticker search for Baltimore Technologies on Yahoo UK gives "BLM.L", and one for Scottish and Newcastle gives "SCTN.L". How do I tell FM that those are the ones I want?

: Thanks again.
: David.

Hi David,
FM does not use the filename, it uses the 'symbol' investment property
to request your quote. You assign the symbol when you create the investment.
You can change it at any time by right clicking on the investment's graph
and choosing "Investment Properties...".
When creating a new investment you specify the symbol, and then when
saving the investment to a file, FM uses the symbol as a default for the
filename, but you can change the filename to anything you want. The
symbol and filename are independent, it is just convenient sometimes to use
the symbol as part of the filename, but definitely is not a requirement.

Thanks,
Mark
