I have reviewed the tutorial and now have historical data back to 1-24-01 using Yahoo. However, I need the data back to 12-29-00.

When I update prices the "int" window just blinks on and off. probably indicating the current prices are already updated.

How do I retrieve historical data prior to 1-24-01?

Thanks

WDA

: : Before I register and buy Fund Manger I would appreciate some help on displaying mutual fund historical data.

: : I entered by hand initial mutual fund transaction data for 29 Dec. 2000. After successfully updating via th eInternet for 22 Jan 2001 daily data I see just a line running from bottom left to upper right, or vice versa, between the two dates on each chart. Importing historical data does not result in the historical data for intervening dates being displayed on the charts.

: : Any guidance would be appreciated.

: Hi William,
: Are these US mutual funds? If so, you can use the "Yahoo (Historical)"
: quote server. This is the easiest way to get historical data. Just go
: under "Options/Internet Settings..." and select "Yahoo (Historical)" as your
: quote server. Then, do an internet retrieve by clicking on the toolbar button
: or choosing "Edit/Update Price/Retrieve - Internet". You will be prompted for
: a date range to update. Once you click okay, all your investments will be
: updated for this date range.

: You will want to make sure you have all the correct symbols recorded for
: your investments before doing the retrieve. If the daily retrieve has already
: worked once for you, it sounds like you are all set.

: Also, if you haven't already done so, please take a few minutes to walk
: through our tutorial at:

: It will walk you through retrieving historical prices and explain many of
: the basics in using Fund Manager. It is the fastest way to get started
: using the program.

: Thanks,
: Mark
