Graphing suggestion

Hi Mark: Have you been able to give any further thought to the idea an addition to the dates function allowing a "trailing" range of dates to be shown on a graph. Something like "Display the last month's data." or "Show last 12 months' data." The desire is to look at the graph of a stock or fund and see the data from the current date back through a defined period and having the start date be a defined number of days or months preceeding today's date. Thus, each day the start date would move ahead the same number of days as the current day without having to redefine the date period.

It would seem useful to me and I could use it.

Hi HCPierce,

Thanks for the feedback. I hadn't give this feature much thought up to this point. I would imagine an option that says "Keep start date relative to end", so that as you update prices, and the ending graph date moves, the start date moves with it. Is that what you're looking for?
Thanks,
Mark

Yes, so that each time a graph is called and displayed that the number of days along the abscissa remains a constant value without having to redefine the dates function. Could be applied to provide a constant date line base of a repeatable number of days, weeks, or months whose beginning and end are moving ahead in concert with the change of date.

Would seem to be a useful method.
