Hello,
I have bought some stocks that are traded on LSE. The problem is at LSE the stock prices are quoted in Pences (Cents) rather than Pound (Dollars).
So, I bought 1,000 shares at 400p each = 4,000 pounds. Because 400 pence = 4 pound.
The price quote (no matter Bloomberg or Yahoo) will quote prices in pences not poundes.
So, If I mark the transaction as 1,000 shares at 4.00 Pound/share, then the P&L will be incorrect, because the Bloomberg quote will import 400P giving me 10000% gain.
The only way to mark the transaction for the P&L to be correct is to mark it as 10 shares at 400 Pound/share. Then, it will be streamlined with the quote, but this is not ideal.
In short, is there a function that automatically divide the price quote by 100 so that I can mark both quantity and price correctly?
Thank you.
Aileen
