Hi Mike,
Are the transactions duplicated, or are the investments included more than once? If the investments are included more than once, this will apply for all time, even for the current date, so I'm not sure I'm understanding what the situation is. Can you describe in what window you are seeing the master portfolio showing each investment twice, and where you are viewing that the current date portfolio is correct? What is correct, the value, or the investments included in the Master Portfolio?
The best place to look for investments in sub-portfolios is the Portfolio Editor window. There are several ways to add investments to a sub-portfolio, and you can add the same investments multiple times, although you generally don't want to do this. Here are some ways you can add investments:
"File / Open Investments..."
Drag/drop in the Portfolio Editor
Copy/Paste in the Portfolio Editor
If you do have duplicate investments, use the Portfolio Editor to close the duplicates.
