How to add a cash account to a subportfolio

How do I add a cash account (or any investment) to an existing subportfolio?

I used the portfolio wizard to create a subportfolio of the Master Portfolio for stock from a prior company, and forgetting that there was a cash account associated with it, I chose "(none)" for the cash account. Now I'd like to add the cash account and its current value to that subportfolio.

I see the option of creating a "New Investment", but I don't see how to connect that to an existing suportfolio.

Thanks,
Mark

Follow up: I tried to create a "New Investment" for this cash account and saved it with the name XYZ Cash, thinking at some point I could add it to a subportfolio, but now I can't find that listed in Documents\Fund Manager.

The answer is in the Tracking Cash tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_OJEOWoqX4&t=8s.

I still wonder where that investment I created is living so I can delete it...

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,

You can find the location of any open investment in a few ways. One of them is under "Investment Properties... / Statistics", it will show you the path and filename of the *.dat investment file.
Thanks,
Mark
