Fund Library

Hi Mark...Fund Library does not seem to be updating. It stopped somewhere around 24 May 2019. A sample symbol is rbf1006. I checked the Fund Library site and it is up to date.

Please advise.

Hi AK,

We came out with an update recently for this server. Unfortunately, it requires you to change the symbols, as their site drastically changed. See these instructions, and if you still have troubles, please let me know.

Mark...I checked the site and used the symbols there but still no joy. An example is RBF1006 for RBC Monthly Income Fund Series D. Symbol is now RBF1006(NL). I also tried some other symbols but Fund Manager does not update.
My symbols have not changed much except for the (NL) at the end.

Please advise.

Mark...follow up, ignore previous message. I was not copying the symbol from the URL. Got it working now.

One symbol is too long to fit in the symbol field, any suggestions here?

Hi AK,

Unfortunately you will have to get that quote from a different server. In a future update to the main FM program we plan to enable a feature so that you can enter longer symbols, but it is currently limited to 49 characters.

Hi Mark...Fund Library is not updating quotes for Mutual Fund symbol RBF 564 (and other funds) as of 28 March 2024.

I checked the Fund Library site and it shows latest NAV for RBF564 as of 04/02/2024 is $14.82.

We're aware, and are working on this. You can check the status using "Help / FM on the Web / Check for Updates..." to see the status on each server.

This issue has been addressed in quote module 598, which you can download now in FM 2024 using "Help / Fund Manager on the Web / Check for Updates...".
