If possible, I would like the following time periods added for reports:
Last year from Today (dynamic, sliding from today back 1 year) Last 3 Years from Today (dynamic, sliding from today back 3 years) Last 5 Years from Today (dynamic, sliding from today back 5 years)
These would be "nice to have" but of course can be manually done now: Last 3 Years (e.g. on 12/1/2015 would be 1/1/2012 to 12/31/2014) Last 5 Years (e.g. on 12/1/2015 would be 1/1/2010 to 12/31/2014)

Hi marshg246,
Okay, thanks for the feedback. The very first one you can get with the "12 months" choice, it is 12 months back from today. All the others you would have to set using the date controls rather than the quicker "Period" drop-down. If you do have a certain report you want with these dates, you can memorize it, and those dates are memorized as part of the report. When you memorize a report, you have the choice of "Float End Date" and "Start Date Relative to End" to control whether the start/end dates slide forward. The end floating date is also controllable with the "Options / Report Preferences... / Other / Memorized Report End Date Floats To:" choices.

Hi Mark,
Correct me if I'm wrong, but when you said "The very first one you can get with the "12 months" choice, it is 12 months back from today.", I believe it is more accurate to say that it's 12 months from the last price or transaction retrieve. (I'm not sure whether it's the price or transaction retrieval that sets the default date until the next retrieve.)
For example, I last did a price history/transaction retrieve on 12/25/2015. Today, 12/30/2015, when I select a report -- the Distribution Summary, for example -- and choose 12 Months for the time period, the start date defaults to 12/25/2014 and the end date ends on 12/24/2015.

Hi aviator,
You're right, it isn't necessarily to "today", it is 12 months ending on the "default ending date". The "default ending date" is the date of your last recorded price on or before the current date.
So, if you look in the Data Register under the data type of "Prices", the latest recorded price on or before the current date (today) would set the ending date.

Thanks, that's what I need -- been using Fund Manager for a long time and never knew that!
