Full error message:
MyWritePrivateProfileString failed with error 0. The operation completed successfully.

I get the subject message in a message window every time I start FM. The options are OK - to get further info. or Cancel - to remove the message.

clicking OK just gets a repeat of the initial message.
clicking Cancel closes the error window and FM appears to be fully functional.

Your assistance in correcting this would be appreciated.

Hi Lloyd,

When/how did this start?

Please try making a backup using "File / Backup..." and then uninstall and re-install Fund Manager. This may fix it. It sounds like a permission problem with your registry settings. After you install Fund Manager you can do a restore of the backup you created to restore the registry settings only. All your data should not need to be restored.

Thanks Mark - uninstalling and reinstalling and restoring only the registry worked.

Sorry, I can't add much to how this started. I don't run FM frequently. A month or so ago I started it and the error message appeared and persisted.

Glad to have gotten rid of it.
