Mark,
Two minor tweaks to alert data entry that would help reduce this tedious task.
1. Enter Fixed Price Alerts as a Percentage
This is to reduce aggravating data-entry. I believe the default is calculated as +/- 10% for above/below the current price and is filled in for the user. If I want a different %, the current fixed alert data-entry screen givens the current price and I could manually calculate my desired alert price and then key it in. It would be a nice option if I could have the fields to key in a percentage and it calculate it for me.
2. Add real-time Moving Average Trigger Price to the Alert Data-Entry Window.
This is a minor user hassle as the trailing stop-loss alert does this in real-time as you change the %. The trigger price for the MA period selected will not be shown until after “Activate” is clicked. If the trigger price is below the current price, this is unknown until activate is clicked and a warning message only tells you if would trigger. A little thing but it can be aggravating.
Thanks for considering
