Mark,
While a transaction report for all transactions in a portfolio might be useful, I also think a report by subportfolio is even more useful, because then you could compare it directly to a custodian's statement for an account (assuming you have subportfolios for each account). Most of your reports have an option to subtotal by subportfolio but not this one, so now I need to run a separate report for each subportfolio. It would be a useful change next time you're changing.

Mark, Did you ever do this? If so, I can't find it.
Since my typical client has 5 (or more) accounts, I hate having the run the transaction report 5 or more time for each client to get it by sub-portfolio.

Still hoping this makes it into your next advisor edition upgrade along with some type of "Cover Sheet" report that would allow me to generate a cover sheet with my client's quarterly reports.

I can confirm that the ability to sub-total the Investment Transaction report by sub-portfolio has been incorporated into the next major release we're working on now.
If you have some "cover sheet"s that you like, that would be helpful if you emailed us some samples.

Thanks . Regarding the cover sheet - nothing fancy - Something that would include a customizable title for the page and fields for client name, advisor information, a disclaimer and a logo. A table of contents from the "batch" print option would be ideal as well.

Hi paulk,
The cover sheet you're describing sounds like the "Invoice" report we have now. You can customize the title/text and insert from a variety of fields, including client info. It can include a logo and disclaimer. You may use it as your cover sheet as opposed to a traditional invoice statement.
Thanks for the idea of a table of contents, makes sense...

I wouldn't be able to use that Invoice report as a cover sheet if I also used the invoice report itself though would I?

Yes, that is correct. The text that goes in the Invoice report is a global setting, so would apply to each Invoice report you create. Maybe we could create a new "Cover Sheet" report that worked a lot like this Invoice report, but would allow independent settings, and maybe have an option for a table of contents too.
