transfer functions

Hi Mark - I would like to see a 4th "transfer" function or another option on the "transfer in" and "transfer out" functions. I'm trying to partially distribute an investment from one (1) portfolio to another portfolio. Currently I have to do two (2) transactions (1 in, 1 out). It would be helpful to have a "transfer between portfolios" function or the ability to move from one portfolio to another on the "in or out" functions. Currently can't do that unless the asset is already set up in the receiving portfolio.

Hi Chris,

Have you seen the "Transfer Between" dialog? You can use this to transfer between 2 existing investments. If you right mouse click on an investment, and choose "Investment Data / Transfer Between..." you'll see this dialog. You do have to have the 2 investments already existing.

Mark - thanks for your help. For the wish this on issue, it would be nice if the pricing history could follow the asset.
